In the exhibition Seduktion: All you (n)ever wanted, Muriel Baumgartner, Bob Gramsma, Julia Geröcs, Franziska Koch, Tim Zulauf, Emanuel Strässle, and Petra Cortright dealt with the process of the creation of value. In the exhibition space -ion+, the artists showed installations, objects, and performances that reflected on value structures with traditional as well as new approaches in (site-)specific contexts as well as in general. The exhibition space itself—a former car showroom at Badenerstrasse 565 in Zurich—was the starting point for their examination.
By exhibiting products and art in the same space at different times, they created a tension that served as the basis first for questions about the construction of value in the object as well as questions about the location and its use. This publication aims to reflect on processes of adding value on an additional level. The value of a work is enhanced by its documentation, which also applies to the exhibition Seduktion: All you (n)ever wanted and to the other events at -ion+.
